SCL is committed to adopt energy conservation measures in all activities, products and services across the Laboratory.  The mission is:
	To continuously enhance energy efficiency by adopting suitable practices and use of energy efficient equipment and technologies.
	To prevent energy wastages with full participation of the employees.
	To conduct regular management reviews to ensure continual improvement.
	To conduct energy audit and energy conservation awareness programmes at regular intervals.
	To recognize the efforts of the employees in energy conservation initiatives.
